A Proper Cup of Tea

The four generations represented take us back to our Derbyshire roots and the small coal mining town of Alfreton.

"Auntie Dolly" who celebrated her 100th birthday this year (born 1906), married Arthur Linacre, brother of OJ's Great Grandma Fox. Dolly is famous for her home-made apple pie, a good head for numbers and politics, and for enjoying a proper cup of tea.

Blogger vs MySpace

Media tycoon Rubert Murdoch has spent an arm and a leg on MySpace.

Its a good medium for song writers and bands to 'air' their work. It has a lot of on-screen movement with dynamic photo displays, movies and pop-up ads everywhere, for the benefit of we who have short attention spans.

It seems to be popular with band groupies and people networking or just trying to stay in touch (it has blog and instant messenger facilities).

I can't see a migration occurring any day soon, but allthesame I've reserved a corner of the Murdoch empire ... turn the volume up, its a great track by Corduroy!

Man On Fire

We Rock!
Four lads, two ladies and seven songs, on a Friday night in the Function Room of a local pub.
Maybe we'll get booked to support Mews at the opening of the new Wembley Stadium!?!
