Reset To Default

Our faces change, but we're still the same.

Default (Kirkham 2007)

Lonely, lonely you?
Trying: to find your own home or;
Fighting, fighting who?
Wanting: to work out what you've done or
Where you went wrong.
And all you do is to run
Further away from the truth.

Brother, brother you sing me your song
And Brother, I’ll hear your tune
The more you, the more you beat me away
The more I know you.

And who said: of all the faces that change
That ours still remain?
And who said: all those choices we face
The decision’s the same?
We reset to default
And then press start
And then move apart

Leaving, leaving you?
Running: to find where you're from or;
Remember, remembering too?
Wanting: to work out what you've done or
Where you went wrong.
And all you do is to run
Further away from the truth.

Brother, brother you sing me your song
And Brother, I’ll hear your tune
The more you, the more you beat me away
The more I know you.

And who said: of all the faces that change
That ours still remain?
And who said: all those choices we face
The decision’s the same?
We reset to default
And then press start
And then move apart

Unchanged? Brother, yes you!
